Smith Mountain Lake Charity Home Tour
Friday, October 6-Sunday, October 8
This three-day event gives ticketholders the chance to tour Smith Mountain Lake homes known for their unique architecture, landscaping, and interior decor. Tickets are available at

Bridgewater Fall Festival
Saturday, October 14, 11am
Shop and dine at your favorite Smith Mountain Lake gift shops and restaurants during this free family-friendly event. Attractions include local craft vendors, face painting, a petting zoo, and free pony rides. Accessible by vehicle or boat.

Annual Artisan Studio and Harvest Tour
Saturday, October 14, 10am
A free event comprised of 13 different sites throughout the county where guests can meet artisans, tour their studios, and shop from handmade gifts ranging from artwork to fine jewelry.

SML Oktoberfest and 5K Trail Race

Celebrating its 5th year, the SML Oktoberfest and 5K Trail Race welcomes live entertainment from authentic Bavarian-style musicians, food, children’s activities, and special Oktoberfest beer from Sunken City Brewery. Annual Franklin County Lord’s Acre Sale
