The Garden Club of Virginia’s Historic Garden Week is great regional event we look forward to every spring. Deemed as “America’s Largest Open House” the 8-day long event features over 250 of Virginia’s most exquisite historic landmarks, homes, and gardens!
This year, my business partner Vicki Millehan and I decided that we wanted to do something special for garden guests planning to take the Chatham and Roanoke garden tours on April 24th and 25th. As we talked with the Garden Club of Virginia and tossed around ideas, we decided that giving away a FREE one night waterfront stay in a 2 bedroom condo at Mariner’s Landing on Smith Mountain Lake was the perfect gift!
In addition to the contest for free accommodations, we’ve also put together a short list of places and points of interest you may want to check out while you’re in town. For a more extensive list, check out my special board on Pinterest – Visiting Smith Mountain Lake that contains over 100 points of interest pins!
